In short

A resin 1:18 scale model of car No. 56 from the 100th anniversary Le Mans 24 Hours — the last race to feature the LMGTE Am class — finished by Cairoli, Hyett and Jeannette for Team Project 1 – AO.

The 2023 Le Mans 24 Hours was officially designated the centenary edition of the race by the ACO, run on 10–11 June at the Circuit de la Sarthe. It was also the final year in which the LMGTE Am class appeared at Le Mans, closing out more than five decades of GTE-derived GT machinery at the event. Car No. 56, campaigned by the German privateer outfit Team Project 1 – AO, was among the last Porsche 911 RSRs to compete in that class.

The Porsche 911 RSR-19: a 1:18 scale model subject with genuine racing pedigree

The 911 RSR-19 belongs to the 991.2 generation and was developed specifically to FIA GTE regulations. It is powered by a naturally aspirated flat-six mounted in a dry-sump, mid-rear configuration — a deliberate departure from the road car's layout to meet GTE homologation requirements. The RSR-19 made its race debut at the 2019 Rolex 24 at Daytona, and by 2023 it remained the weapon of choice for Porsche customer teams in LMGTE Am.

Team Project 1 – AO and the green No. 56 at the centenary race

Team Project 1 is a long-standing German Porsche customer team with a consistent Le Mans presence across multiple WEC seasons. The AO designation in 2023 reflected the team's partnership with Asian-based sponsors, and the car ran in a predominantly green livery — a clear visual contrast to the more common white and red schemes seen on Porsche customer cars of the era. The driver line-up brought together Matteo Cairoli, a factory-affiliated Porsche pilot from Italy; Gunnar Jeannette, an established American GT specialist; and British-American gentleman driver Phillip Jeffrey Hyett. The trio finished 35th overall in the race.

Spark Model resin construction at 1:18

This model is produced by Spark Model in resin at 1:18 scale. Spark's 1:18 resin range is known for reproducing race liveries with precision, capturing team graphics, sponsor markings and body details that define each individual entry. The green livery, team numbering and driver names are rendered directly from the 2023 race specification of car No. 56.
