In short

A 300-piece limited edition 1:43 scale model by Spark Model. René Rast's #33 RoboMarkets BMW M4 GT3 EVO from his farewell 2025 DTM season, capturing three race wins and a championship showdown at Hockenheim in resin.

Spark Model's 1:43 resin captures the BMW M4 GT3 EVO at a specific moment in DTM history: René Rast's third and final season with Schubert Motorsport, a campaign that produced three victories yet ended in a lap-1 retirement at the Hockenheim finale. Limited to 300 pieces, the model records a livery and a race number that will not return to the DTM grid.

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO: G82 Platform, 590 hp

The M4 GT3 EVO is a mid-cycle update to the BMW M4 GT3, itself the successor to the M6 GT3 from the 2022 season. Built on the G82 M4 Competition platform, the EVO receives revised bodywork aligned with the facelifted road car. Overall dimensions remain unchanged at 5,020 mm long and 2,040 mm wide. Power comes from BMW's P58 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six producing up to 590 hp, routed through an Xtrac 6-speed sequential electrohydraulic transaxle — an evolution of the unit developed for the M8 GTE programme.

31 Wins, Three Championships, One Last Season

Rast entered the 2025 DTM carrying the RoboMarkets blue-and-black livery he has worn since joining BMW M Motorsport in 2023. The #33 car, unveiled in Munich on 17 March 2025, went on to score three race wins across the 16-race, 8-weekend season — including a victory at the Nürburgring and a 1–2 with Schubert team-mate Marco Wittmann on Saturday at the Red Bull Ring. Rast ended the year sixth in the Drivers' Championship with 169 points, his title hopes extinguished by a lap-1 collision at Hockenheim. He retired from DTM with 31 victories, placing him third in the all-time wins list behind Bernd Schneider (43) and Klaus Ludwig (37).

Spark Model Resin at 1:43

Spark Model produces this piece in resin, the material of choice for their 1:43 GT and touring car range where sharp aerodynamic surfaces and fine graphic work demand a rigid, warp-free substrate. The RoboMarkets blue-and-black livery, with its characteristic contrast panelling, transfers cleanly to this scale. Edition size is confirmed at 300 pieces — consistent with Spark's practice for DTM single-season subjects. A companion piece covers the sister #11 Schaeffler car driven by Marco Wittmann in the same release batch, allowing both Schubert entries to be displayed together.

In the Display Cabinet

At 1:43, the model measures approximately 11.5 cm in length, manageable on a standard shelf depth of 15 cm. It pairs logically with Spark's #33 Rast releases from DTM 2023 and 2024 for a three-season Schubert/RoboMarkets sequence, or with the companion Wittmann #11 to recreate the complete 2025 Schubert Motorsport garage — the defending DTM team champions entering that season. Collectors building a Rast career retrospective can trace his three championship-winning Audi RS5 DTM liveries from 2017, 2019 and 2020 through to this BMW farewell piece.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the 1:43 scale model?

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO measures 5,020 mm in real life. At 1:43 scale that works out to approximately 11.5 cm in length. Allow a shelf depth of at least 15 cm to display it comfortably.

Does the model have opening parts?

This is a resin model, so the body is a sealed one-piece construction with no opening doors, bonnet or engine cover. Detail is concentrated on the exterior surfaces: the GT3 aerodynamic bodywork, the RoboMarkets blue-and-black livery graphics, and the #33 race markings.

How limited is the edition?

Spark Model has confirmed a production run of 300 pieces worldwide. The companion #11 Wittmann car from the same Schubert Motorsport 2025 DTM release batch carries the same edition size.

Why does this livery matter to a René Rast collector?

The RoboMarkets blue-and-black scheme was worn by Rast throughout his three seasons with Schubert Motorsport and BMW M Motorsport from 2023. The 2025 iteration represents his final DTM livery before retiring from the series with 31 victories and three drivers' championships (2017, 2019, 2020).
