In short

A 1:43 scale model car from Spark Model capturing the white-and-pink Kremer-tribute No. 6 Origine Motorsport Porsche 911 GT3 R at the 49th Suzuka 1000 km, limited to 300 resin pieces.

Origine Motorsport arrived at Suzuka in September 2025 carrying more than race hardware. The team's No. 6 Porsche 911 GT3 R wore a white-and-pink livery drawn directly from the Kremer Racing 935 K3 that Bob Wollek and Henri Pescarolo campaigned in the early 1980s — a deliberate homage confirmed by Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific. Spark Model has translated that livery onto a resin 1:43 scale model car, limited to 300 numbered pieces.

The 992.1 GT3 R: a race car built around its engine

The 992 generation Porsche 911 GT3 R was unveiled in summer 2022 and made its racing debut at the 2023 24 Hours of Daytona. Its 4,194 cc naturally aspirated flat-six — up from 3,997 cc in the outgoing 991.2 — produces up to 416 kW (565 PS) subject to FIA Balance of Performance. The engine is tilted forward 5.5 degrees to free underbody space for a larger diffuser, a detail that proved consequential at Suzuka. The car measures 4,619 mm in length and 2,050 mm across the rear axle, making it one of the widest GT3 homologation cars on sale to customers.

From second place to fifth: Suzuka 2025 in full

The 2025 Suzuka 1000 km was the 49th edition of the race and Round 4 of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, returning after a five-year COVID-19 absence. Laurin Heinrich qualified the No. 6 fifth on the grid with a 2:00.821 lap. After two and a half stints — shared between Heinrich, Alessio Picariello and Bastian Buus, all FIA Gold-rated drivers — the car was running second overall. Underfloor damage sustained on the high-speed Grand Prix layout then eroded pace; the team completed 170 laps to finish fifth overall, 1 minute 12.800 seconds behind the BMW Team WRT winner. Porsche GT3 Project Manager Sebastian Golz specifically cited the result as noteworthy given the damage incurred. All eleven Porsche 911 GT3 R starters finished the race.

Spark Model in resin at 1:43

Spark Model produces this piece in resin, the material of choice for 1:43 competition cars requiring precise panel definition at small dimensions. The body is a sealed, one-piece construction — standard practice at this scale — with detail concentrated on the exterior aerodynamic surfaces: the wide front splitter, the rear wing assembly, and the GT3 R's characteristic diffuser. The white-and-pink livery replicates the historic Kremer Racing colour scheme, and the No. 6 race graphics correspond to the car as it ran at Suzuka on 13–14 September 2025.

In the display cabinet

At 1:43 the model measures approximately 10.5 cm in length, fitting comfortably on a standard single shelf or in a multi-car acrylic case without requiring specialist spacing. Collectors building a Suzuka 2025 IGTC set will note that Spark has released models of several other cars from the same event, including entries that also carried period-inspired liveries — making the No. 6 a natural anchor piece for a thematically coherent display. The 300-piece edition size places it firmly in the limited-run category for a customer-team IGTC entry.

Frequently asked questions

How big is the 1:43 scale model?

The real Porsche 911 GT3 R (992.1) measures 4,619 mm in length. Divided by 43, the model comes to approximately 10.5 cm — compact enough for a standard display shelf while still accommodating the car's wide rear bodywork, which spans over 2,050 mm on the real car.

Does the model have opening parts?

No. Like all Spark Model resin pieces at this scale, the body is a sealed one-piece construction with no opening doors, bonnet or engine cover. Detail is concentrated on the exterior aerodynamic surfaces, including the front splitter, rear wing and underbody diffuser outline.

What makes the livery historically significant?

Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific confirmed the white-and-pink colour scheme is a direct tribute to the Kremer Racing Porsche 935 K3 raced by Bob Wollek and Henri Pescarolo. That connection gives the No. 6 model dual-era appeal: it documents a 2025 IGTC result while referencing a landmark early-1980s endurance programme.

How limited is the edition run?

The model is limited to 300 pieces. For context, customer-team IGTC entries at this scale are not routinely produced in limited editions, which makes a 300-piece run an unusually low number for a Porsche GT3 subject.
