Built on the Long Range Dual Motor platform, it was positioned as a road-legal showcase of what Polestar's engineering team could extract from the P21 architecture. Norev — the official scale model partner for the Geely/Volvo/Polestar group — has rendered this rare machine in die-cast metal at 1:43, finished in Space Black.

A 230 kW Electric Sleeper with Track-Ready Suspension

The BST 230 Edition draws its name directly from its specification: BST standing for boost, and 230 denoting the combined output of 230 kW (308 hp) from its front-and-rear dual electric motors. That translates to a 0–100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds, backed by a 75 kWh usable battery. Where the standard Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor is a refined daily driver, the BST version strips away that compromise with Öhlins adjustable dampers, Brembo brakes, forged 21-inch wheels, and a lowered ride height — all road-legal, all standard fitment.

270 Units, Space Black, and a Gloss Black Trim Package

Global production was capped at 270 units, making the BST 230 Edition among the rarest modern Polestars ever to reach customers. The Space Black exterior pairs with a comprehensive gloss black trim package — roof, mirror caps, and exterior accents — giving the car a deliberately understated but visually coherent identity. The lowered stance reinforces that impression at a standstill. Space Black is one of the most complementary colour choices for the gloss black hardware, a pairing that works particularly well as a static display piece at 1:43.

Norev Die-Cast at 1:43 — Official Group Partner

Norev produced this model in die-cast metal at 1:43 scale. As the official scale model partner for the Geely/Volvo/Polestar group, Norev has direct access to manufacturer data, which informs the accuracy of bodywork proportions, trim details, and livery colour matching. The Space Black finish and gloss black exterior accents that distinguish the BST 230 Edition from the standard Polestar 2 are reproduced as defining features of this release.

In the Display Cabinet

At 1:43, this model slots naturally alongside Norev's Polestar 2 Long Range releases in other colours, building a coherent Polestar 2 variant shelf. It also pairs well with Norev's Volvo C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge — sister-platform vehicles from the same group — or with a Polestar 1, the 1,500-unit hybrid grand tourer also available in 1:43. For collectors focused on limited-production road cars, the 270-unit real-world run gives this model a documentary weight that standard production variants cannot match.
