# Porsche 911 (993) Turbo Coupe 1995 Silver Minichamps 1:18

> A die-cast 1:18 scale model of the landmark 1995 Porsche 993 Turbo by Minichamps, finished in silver — the last air-cooled 911 Turbo ever produced, with twin turbochargers and all-wheel drive.

The Porsche 911 (993) Turbo occupies a singular place in automotive history: unveiled at the 1995 Geneva Motor Show, it arrived as both the most capable 911 Turbo to date and, as it turned out, the last of the air-cooled line. Minichamps renders it in die-cast metal at 1:18, in silver — a factory colour listed throughout the 993 Turbo's production run from 1995 to 1998.

## The Engineering That Defined a Generation

The 993 Turbo was built around a flat-six fed by twin turbochargers — the first time any production 911 Turbo had used twin turbos. Power drove all four wheels through Porsche's 993-generation AWD system: another first for the Turbo nameplate.

## A Wide-Body Silhouette in Silver

The 993 Turbo's visual identity is inseparable from its wide bodyshell and from the fixed whale-tail rear spoiler with its integrated intercooler air intakes. Silver metallic was one of the most consistently chosen factory colours for the car, offering a cooler, more restrained counterpoint to the muscular body lines. It also carries a quiet nod to the Silberpfeile tradition long associated with German performance machinery.

## The 1:18 Scale Model by Minichamps

This replica is produced by Minichamps in die-cast metal at 1:18, a scale at which the 993 Turbo's proportions — the flared arches, the whale tail, the wide haunches — translate with precision. The 993 Turbo is one of the most collectible subjects at this scale given its status as an engineering and design turning point in Porsche's history.
