# Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec II 2001 Purple OEM Rims KK Scale 1:12

> A die-cast 1:12 scale model of the 2001 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R34) by KK Scale, finished in purple with OEM BBS wheels — mirroring one of the most coveted factory colour finishes of the BNR34 generation.

The R34 Skyline GT-R V-Spec II sits at a precise intersection of mechanical ambition and cultural weight. The BNR34 generation represented the final expression of Nissan's analogue GT-R formula. KK Scale captures a 2001-year car in 1:12 — one of the largest standard die-cast scales available for road cars — with a finish and wheel specification drawn directly from the factory order sheet.

## BNR34 V-Spec II: The Mechanical Argument

The V-Spec II variant is a distinguished version of the R34 GT-R. Power came from the RB26DETT — a 2.6-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six. BBS wheels were fitted as standard equipment — the same wheels reproduced on this model.

## The Purple Finish and the OEM Rims Distinction

The purple finish on this R34 GT-R V-Spec II is widely regarded as among the most sought-after factory finishes in the JDM collector market. KK Scale's explicit call-out of 'OEM Rims' in the product designation is a meaningful technical note: it signals that the BBS wheels are replicated to factory specification, not replaced by a depiction of any aftermarket fitment — a distinction that matters to detail-conscious collectors.

## KK Scale's 1:12 Die-Cast Construction

KK Scale produces this model in die-cast metal at 1:12 scale. At this ratio, the GT-R's signature proportions are rendered with genuine presence, making it a commanding display piece. The R34 GT-R line from KK Scale includes multiple colour variants, with the purple OEM Rims version among the most distinctive releases.
