# Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 V-Spec II 2001 Black BBS Rims KK Scale 1:12

> A large-format 1:12 scale model of the iconic R34 GT-R V-Spec II in black, with BBS wheels faithfully represented in die-cast by KK Scale.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R in its R34 generation represents the final evolution of a lineage that defined Japanese performance engineering through the 1990s and into the early 2000s. KK Scale has chosen the V-Spec II — the highest-specification road variant — as the subject of this 1:12 scale model, capturing the car in the black finish with its BBS alloy wheels intact.

## The BNR34: Engineering Behind the Legend

Nissan's BNR34 Skyline GT-R was produced during the early 2000s. At its heart sits the RB26DETT, a 2.6-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six with all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. The R34 body carries a purposeful, tightly proportioned stance that remains immediately recognisable.

## V-Spec II: The Factory-Built Apex

Introduced in 2000, the V-Spec II sat at the top of the R34 GT-R range. It arrived from the factory with Brembo brake calipers and an uprated suspension tune, with BBS alloy wheels fitted. An optional Nür specification engine, developed with reference to Nürburgring testing, was also available on this variant. The V-Spec II was sold through Nissan dealerships in Japan and remained in production until the BNR34 line ended.

## KK Scale's 1:12 Scale Model in Die-Cast

KK Scale, a German-based die-cast manufacturer with a focused catalogue of road cars, renders the R34 V-Spec II here in 1:12 — a scale that delivers considerably more visual presence than the more common 1:18 format. The die-cast construction reproduces the BBS wheel specification that distinguishes the V-Spec II from base-trim R34 GT-Rs, making wheel accuracy a legitimate point of authenticity for collectors familiar with the real car. The black finish reads cleanly against the R34's angular bodywork, allowing the model's panel and vent detailing to register at this larger format.
